Having been gentled as 'Punnagai Arasi', actress Sneha transcended on with a different avatar of action-packed role in 'Bhavani IPS'. With the film slated to hit screens by February, the actress has more reasons to rejoice. Not merely for the fact that she has donned a powerful role in 'Goa', but about her Malayalam projects as well.The actress seems to have impressed Malayalam Superstar Mammooty as they teamed up for bilingual movie 'Vande Mataram'.Closer sources have revealed that she'll be sharing screen space with Mammooty in other couple of Malayalam films. Sneha's spokesperson admits that nothing has been confirmed till the moment as the discussions are still over the initial phase.

Radha's daughter pairs with Simbhu

K V Anand is directing a film titled Ko which has Simbhu in the lead role. Yester year actress Radha's daughter Karthika is pairing with Simbhu in this film.
Initially Thamanna was supposed to pair with Simbhu in this film. She demanded Rs 75 Lakhs as her salary, a room in a five star hotel and also rooms for 6 people including makeup man and costume man. The director, who was literally shaken by these conditions, refused Thamanna.Now this offer has gone to Radha's daughter Karthika. In Tamil there are already Thoothukudi Karthika and Dindigul Sarathi Karthika. Now one more Karthika will be joining them

Ilayaraja's music may not be remixed anymore

Agi Music has acquired the entire rights of all of maestro Ilayaraja's works before the year 2000. The rights include broadcasting rights, synchronization usages, mechanical usages, mobile content and the like. Announcing this deal, Mr. Agilan, CEO, Agi Music said, "We would like to inform that Agi Music is the only sole licensee for Ilayaraja's contents in all formats including digital, MP3, ring tones, new media and others as well. Agi Music is representing him and administrating his composition for entire world including India, Malaysia and Singapore. Agi Music is also a member of Music Authors Copyright Protection (MACP) in Malaysia, which are the international representative and licensee for public performance usage of Ilayaraja's work especially in TV Channels, Radio Channels and Concerts." Ilayaraja has also issued a statement in which he had advised one and all against using his songs in their films as background scores and remixes. He also makes it clear that those using his song must have a license from Agi Music.

Ajith'S Metaphoric Style

It looks like actor Ajith Kumar wants to acquire the status of 'Mr. Perfectionist' in Tamil film industry. Recently during the audio launch of 'ASAL', the entire crew couldn't stop singing praises of Ajith Kumar as they felt that the actor has a vast knowledge in various departments of filmmaking and other production tasks.As known, the actor has got himself involved into story and screenplay for 'ASAL'. Apparently, director Saran has entitled him as 'Mr. Perfectionist' as Aamir Khan, who makes sure that his film is churned out with perfection with ne plus ultra. Similarly, Yughi Sethu geared up for a surprising speech that Ajith Kumar can be termed as present day MGR as he was the only versatile actor of ancient times for having claimed knowledge about technical aspects of filmmaking as well.However then, Ajith Kumar made a rigid statement that a good film doesn't need publicity. But we aren't sure how far this exactly conjures the lines of reality.
